Grammy and Oscar award-winning hip-hop artist Common shares the inspiration behind new album titled "Let Love Have The Last World." During an intimate listening party in New York, the discussion included details of molestation by a family friend when he was a child.
Common shared the child abuse experience in his book and in music for the greater good in which he took to twitter stating. " I talked about being molested because, as a Black man, many men have hidden that, many men have hidden that. Many people have hidden that. And you carry that weight with you. But at some point, you've got to let it go."
