"Drive-Away Dolls" follows Jamie (played by Margaret Qualley), who is heartbroken after a breakup, and her reserved friend Marian (played by Geraldine Viswanathan), who needs encouragement to embrace love. This film combines Action, Romance, and Comedy, depicting the journey of two friends on a road trip from Philadelphia to Tallahassee.
As they explore various bars, they get entangled in a series of misfortunes involving a severed head in a hatbox, an ex-girlfriend, a mysterious briefcase, and a corrupt senator. Their plans take a chaotic turn when they encounter a group of incompetent criminals. Ultimately, the two friends find love, escape with a briefcase full of money, and embark on a new beginning together.
This is film is directed by Ethen Cohen, who wrote the script along with his wife Tricia Cooke. Even though this movie is hilarious, it does contain nudity, sex, and foul language. Rated R so kids under 18 not allowed which is definitely recommended.
As far as the soundtrack, nothing home to write about. Mostly sound to heighten the scenes.
