Back 1989, a gym manager Lou (played by Kristen Stewart) meets a woman named Jackie (played by Kathy O'Brian) working out at the gym and falls in love with her. Jackie is passing through town to get to a bodybuilding competition in Las Vegas and Lou offers her steroids, which Jackie initially refuses but ends up taking.
Still feeling the effects of the steroids, Jackie breaks into Lou's brother in-law J.J.'s (played by Dave Franco) house and brutally attacks him, beating him to death. Lou discovers the scene and the two drive the corpse into a ravine Lou is familiar with and dump his body there.
Then to make matters worse, They are spotted by Daisy (played by Anna Baryshnikov), a lesbian who admires Lou. Daisy begins to blackmail Lou into a relationship with her, after finding out the full information from the police who found J.J.'s corpse, as well as several skeletons.
Lou Sr. (played by Ed Harris) frees Jackie from prison and gives her a gun. She ends up shooting Daisy in the face. Lou Sr. tells Lou that Jackie will go to prison for the murders but Lou threatens to expose his operation if he does so, causing Lou Sr. to seek revenge. Jackie seems to find herself in a world of trouble and Lou because of hos love for her tries to keep her safe.
Jackie ends up killing again and the never ending saga with Lou and Jackie is just unbelievable. This R rated film touches on what a couple will do for one another is the reason why is called Love Lies Bleeding. This movie is a 🍿🍿🍿 must 👀 and in theaters Friday March 15th..
