Everyone knows Marsai Martin from her lead role in Black-ish,and as the producer and director of the film Little. This trailblazer is not only an outstanding actor and producer, but she is also a fashion icon in the making! If you follow her on Instagram or have seen her red carpet looks, you know that she is quite the Fashionista. She is not afraid of making a statement when it comes to her fashion choices, and I am totally here for it!
One of my favorite recent looks of hers was the one she wore to the BET Awards Sunday night. She wore a vibrant, strapless, yellow Romona Keveza dress that was styled with a tasteful pair of black heels. Not only was her outfit on point, but her makeup was as well. She went with a goldish-yellow eye shadow to match the dress, and winged eye liner for that extra draw. Marsai Martin definitely had one of the most memorable and noteworthy looks of the night!
Another recent look of hers that was literally everything, was the one she wore to the Waco Theater Gala. The fiery-red, high low Gustavo Cadile dress was the perfect mix of hot and elegant, and we can’t forget the lovely train that fell from the back of the dress. Of course, she couldn’t go without matching the dress with a pair of stylish red heels. As if the dress wasn’t enough for us to handle, she brought the look to life with her bold and creative eye makeup. She wore jewels and gems around her eyes to compliment her neutral-colored eye shadow and winged eye liner. I mean I don’t know many people who could pull that look off as flawlessly as Marsai did.
Not only are her red carpet looks on point; so are her everyday leisure looks. If you’re following her on Instagram, I am sure you have seen a few of these fly looks. She is an expert at taking a simple pair of sweat pants and t-shirt and turning them into something super stylish, and she does it so effortlessly.
