Late Night Movie is the story of a Long running Late Night Host Katherine Newbury (played by #emmathompson) a comedian who has lost touch with her audience. Katherine is also dealing with the declining health of husband Walter (played by #johnlithgow). Her writers are all men so to shake things up because her career is on the line, she instructs her personal assistance to hire a woman. Molly (played by #mindykaling) who has no experiences in the industry comes in with some ideas that Katherine is not happy with and Molly has to prove herself to the other writers. Will they turn Katherine 's career around? Will Molly ever meet the standards of Katherine and her co-workers?
