Monkey Man is an action pack and culturally aware film. I love the energy of the film and how it transformed creating a space to experience a different environment and meeting knew and exciting actors for the first time.
Dev Patel, is a star. His directorial view in the movie along with the action fight scenes are amazing well put together. Sobhita Dhulipala, is not only beautiful but a reality check for Monkey Man. The way she expresses emotion through her eyes in the film without saying a word is powerful. Sikandar Kher, if you needed a bad guy h for sure the part with precision. Such a greta on screen presence. He didn't miss a beat showing who was in charge.
Overall Monkey Man is a great action film and cultural lesson at the same time.
