The MTV red carpet is a place where fashion comes to life! Many celebrities walk the red carpet in their best looks. Just in case you missed it, here are a few of those eye-catching looks!
It should come as no surprise that Stormi Reid looked flawless on yet another red carpet! She has proven to us time and time again that when it comes to red carpets, she is always going to serve us divine looks! Styled by James Bolden, this year Stormi wore a High Fashion jacket Designed by Etro Design and Fashion, with a white button up and bottoms underneath. The jacket was velvet with cream-colored lace ruffles and floral-print designs on the bottom of the sleeves. To pull the whole look together, she added a black and gold printed belt. I would have to say that Stormi Reid was easily one of the best dressed of the night!
Metallic was definitely a theme of the MTV Red carpet, and two people who owned this look and looked ravishing while doing it were Jada Pinkett Smith and Tessa Thompson! Both Smith and Thompson showed us how to make a fashion statement wearing metallic. Jada Pinkett Smith wore a silver metallic sequined suit with black trim on the blazer. Underneath her blazer, she wore a black V-neck shirt. Adding to this look, she wore achicpair of black pointed-toe heels. Tessa Thompson, who has shown us that there isn’t a look that she can’t pull off, wore a tasteful oversized metallic blazer designed by Thom Browne, and a pair unique yet fashionable pumps. Both Jada Pinkett Smith and Tessa Thompson looked absolutely stunning in their metallic!
Brie Larson looked amazing at last night’s MTV awards; not many people can make half a butterfly wing look so exquisite! Larson wore a two-piece set designed by David Koma. The black velvet top with a black butterfly wing was covered in remarkable silver and metallic designs. To match the top, she wore a pair of black velvet pants. Brie Larson’s unique and elegant look was by far one of my favorite looks from the night!
Last, but definitely not least, Miss Lizzo’s bold and radiant attire reminded us of everything we love about her! Lizzo wore a bright neon-green dress designed by Christopher John Rogers. It’s scrunchy design and feathered boa resembled neckline was literally everything! To top off the look, she wore a pair of Gucci Flashtreck sneakers accessorized with removable crystals. Sneakers on the red carpet? My kind of gal! Lizzo looked incredible on last night’s red carpet, serving us looks that we will not forget!
